WHAT IT’S ABOUT INside out 2

Riley enters a new stage in her life as a teenager. As she starts secondary school, she is faced with significant changes and the appearance of new people in her environment. With the arrival of new emotions, Alegria tries to maintain optimism at HQ, but emotions conflict over how to handle Riley’s new life, including the change of town, house and school. Riley must learn to navigate these changes, moving ever closer to maturity and discovering more about herself.

Starting on 13 June 2024, the film will be in theatres everywhere until mid-August. Although the exact date of its arrival on streaming has not yet been confirmed, it is speculated to be in September. You can watch it on Disney+ or your favourite streaming platform.

The new emotions that enter Riley’s world reflect the common experiences of teenagers at a certain age. Director Kelsey Mann stresses that he wanted to especially emphasise the emotion of Anxiety (Maya Hawke), as it is something that begins to emerge during this stage of life. Mann explained that he researched how the brain works at this age to incorporate some changes in HQ in “Inside Out 2”.
