5. The Mandalorian (2019)
The Mandalorian is the first Star Wars live-action series, starring Pedro Pascal. It tells the story of a lone bounty hunter belonging to the dwindling creed of Mandalorian warriors, whose members are scattered throughout a lawless galaxy. The Mandalorian‘s life takes an unexpected turn in one of his missions when the well-being of Baby Yoda forces him to decide between betraying his principles or becoming an outlaw.
The episodic nature of the series makes each episode feel new and fresh. Still, each adventure is part of a bigger story that takes us into one of the least explored periods of the Star Wars universe and promises to take us to places never seen before in the franchise. The first season of The Mandalorian has 10 episodes and the premiere of the second one is estimated for the second half of 2020.

4. The Outsider (2020)
Based on the novel of the same name by bestselling author Stephen King, The Outsider is a 10-episode miniseries that combines the police thriller and the supernatural horror genres together, in addition to paying special attention to the personalities and affections of each of its characters. The great technical work in the series has led it to be recognized as one of the best adaptations of King‘s work and the best television adaptation of one of his books.
The story takes us to the fictional Flint City, where detective Ralph Anderson (Ben Mendelsohn) arrests school baseball coach Terry Maitland (Jason Bateman), accusing him of mutilating an 11-year-old boy. Although the police have proof of his guilt, Maitland also has proof of his innocence. All characters must fight against their preconceptions and extend the limits of their understanding to unmask the horror that haunts them from the shadows.

3. Ozark (2017)
Ozark is a Netflix crime series that tells the story of Marty Byrde (Jason Bateman), a financial adviser who, along with his wife Wendy (Laura Linney) and their two children, move to the Ozarks region to conduct a money laundering business for a powerful Mexican drug cartel. Although at first, he had to do it under threats, Marty will go deeper into a world of crime in which he will feel increasingly comfortable.
The series has been recognized as a Breaking Bad successor and has been praised for the tone of its directing and the powerful performances of its cast. The first season consists of nine one-hour episodes and one final eighty-minute episode, and the second season has 10 episodes. The third season, also with 10 episodes, was released in March 2020, which makes it a great option to enjoy at home.

2. Money Heist (2017)
Money Heist is a Spanish series popularized internationally thanks to its transmission on Netflix and the Salvador Dalí masks worn by its protagonists. The story focuses on a team of eight people led by a man who calls himself “The Professor”, who are preparing to infiltrate the Royal Mint of Spain to commit the biggest heist in history.
Each Money Heist season is divided into two parts, so the first season of the series consists of parts 1 and 2, with a total of 15 episodes. Now, the second season has a total of 16 episodes, one part released in July 2019, and another released in April 2020.
1. Westworld (2016)
Inspired by the 1973 movie of the same name, Westworld is one of the most acclaimed series in recent years. Starring Evan Rachel Wood, Anthony Hopkins, and many other top-notch actors and actresses, the series tells the story of an Old West theme park populated by human-like androids, where visitors can unleash their wild imagination as if they were in a video game.
The series stands out not only for its great history and memorable performances but for the issues it addresses, including questions about reality, truth and the value of life. Its third season premiered in March 2020, making it a great opportunity to enjoy the full series and immerse yourself in the exciting world of Westworld.
