Eternals
Release date: November 5th
Eternals might be a bit different to its predecessor movies of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Some critics say it’s good and some others say it’s bad. But could it have to do with the choice of director?
Inspired by a poem by William Blake, Oscar winner Chlóe Zhao (Nomadland, 2020) proposes a more romantic look for this film. Her idea of portraying infinite beauty and the meaning of the cosmos inside the smallest things on Earth, granted her the honor of directing this complex movie.
The Eternals are beings with superpowers disguised as humans who have been sent to Earth with the purpose of taking care of the planet from the monstrous Deviants. However, after a cosmic event, they must become the superheroes they once were.
Original title: Eternals. Cast: Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Gemma Chan, Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff, Brian Tyree Henry, Salma Hayek, Lia McHugh, Don Lee. Genres: Superheroes, science fiction.
