Most anticipated movies and TV Show of june

The sixth month of the year arrives with many movies and series that continue sagas or expand stories from the small screen and, from MFC, we tell you what are the main highlights of the coming weeks.

MOST ANTICIPATED MOVIES OF JUNE

1- HIT MAN

Genre: Comedy, romantic, action.

Duration: 120 minutes

Gary Johnson (Glen Powell) is a psychology professor and works for the police, passing himself off as a professional killer to catch those looking to hire one. However, when Madison (Adria Arjona) asks him to kill her abusive husband, instead of arresting her, he helps her escape. This triggers a series of turbulent events when they meet again under her false identity.

2-THE WATCHERS

Genre: Terror.

Duration: 100 minutes;

The film tells the story of Mina (Dakota Fanning), a 28-year-old artist who gets lost in a vast forest in the west of Ireland. Finding refuge in a modern, luxurious house, she becomes trapped with three strangers, all stalked by mysterious creatures every night.Director M. Night Shyamalan produces the feature debut of his daughter Ishana Shyamalan, based on the novel of the same name by A.M. Shine.

3- BAD BOYS 4: RIE OR DIE

Genre: Action.

Duration: 120 minutes;

The fourth installment of the saga will once again star Will Smith (Suicide Squad, I Am Legend) as cop Mike Lowrey and Martin Lawrence (This Grandma’s My Father) as Marcus Burnett. Together, they will once again take on the dangers of the streets with their unique style of upholding the law. Even Lionel Messi and Jimmy Butler recommend it.

4- INSIDE OUT 2

Genre: Animation, Comedy.

Duration: 90 minutes.

The plot of “Inside Out 2” follows Riley in a new stage of her life. As she enters high school, she faces significant changes and the appearance of new people in her environment. With more emotions coming into her mind, an exciting adventure ensues. Riley must learn to navigate these changes, moving ever closer to maturity and discovering more about herself and her feelings in the process.

MOST ANTICIPATED TV SHOWS OF JUNE

1- STAR WARS: THE ACOLYTE

Genre: Action, Adventure, Science Fiction.

Duration: 8 chapters.

Long before the adventures of Luke, Leia and Han Solo, and before Anakin Skywalker became Darth Vader, the Star Wars universe was set in a galaxy filled with dark secrets and emerging powers of the dark side. In the final days of the High Republic era, the Jedi are at the height of their power. However, in the shadows, the Sith are gathering their forces, and the threat from the dark side of the Force grows with each passing day.

2- THE BOYS: SEASON 4

Genre: Fantastic, Action, Comedy.

Duration: Fourth season, 8 episodes.

The series is set in a world where superheroes embody the dark side of fame and celebrity. A group of vigilantes, known as “The Boys”, are dedicated to stopping superheroes who are harming society, no matter the risks involved.

3- HOUSE OF THE DRAGON: SEASON 2

Genre: Adventures, Drama, Fantastic.

Duration: Second season, 8 episodes.

The story is set 172 years before Daenerys Targaryen, during the ninth year of Viserys Targaryen’s (Paddy Considine) reign. The line of succession is in jeopardy, as his wife Aemma (Sian Brooke) is pregnant, but there is no guarantee that she will give birth to a male heir. If she does not, the Iron Throne could pass to Viserys’ impulsive and potentially tyrannical brother Daemon (Matt Smith), or to Viserys’ teenage daughter Rhaenyra (Milly Alcock), whose claim to the throne would break with the tradition of male preference and face strong opposition.

4- BRIDGERTON: SEASON 3, PART 2

Genre: Romance, Drama.

Duration: Second part of the third season, 4 episodes left.

In the third season of Bridgerton, the focus is on the love story between Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton. Penelope, still secretly in love with Colin, decides to leave her alter ego of Lady Whistledown behind and find her own happiness. Meanwhile, Colin returns from his travels with a renewed sense of purpose, only to realize the feelings he has for Penelope. However, recapturing their friendship and love will not be easyl, as they must face the challenges of London society and overcome secrets from the past. All while the Bridgerton family continues to navigate the complexities of Regency romance and social intrigue.
